Creature (Metamorphosis)

The Techno-Horreo creature is resolutely connected to the blue ecologies that surround it. Magic Fish is vulnerable, attuned to the water and reflective; they merge with the tide, a catcher of light. Their offerings to the ArtFashion line, designed and made by Livia Rita, are inspired by the tough, alluring scales of water creatures whose soft armour can both elicit delicacy and strength.

In einer Welt, die immer prekärer und isolierender wirkt, erforscht «Magic Fish» das kollektive Gefühl des sich Verloren-Fühlens (where can one be found in an ocean so big). Dabei verschmelzen schwere Beats mit hellen Melodien und schaffen so eine Synthese von Höhen und Tiefen, die sinnbildlich für eben jene des Lebens stehen. So vermitteln Musik und Text das Gefühl, sich im nächsten Moment in der Unendlichkeit zu verlieren, Magic Fish aber hat keine Angst, in die Tiefen des Ozeans abzutauchen. Vielmehr stürzt sich Magic Fish ins Unbekannte und stellt sich den dunklen Momenten im Abgrund (to meet depths/and get lost/it was cruel, terrifying). Denn um uns selbst zu finden, müssen wir uns erst verlieren. Im Unbekannten kann Verwandlung stattfinden, das Grausame und Schreckliche treiben uns an, die Reise kann weitergehen – Magic Fish reisst sich los aus der Tiefe und schwimmt hinauf ins Licht.
